Tahsin Kamal Tonima

Tahsin Kamal Tonima is a commercial and technology lawyer with an international career spanning the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. Her background combines legal practice and academia with in-house legal and compliance experience at a multinational organisation in the UK. She has served as a Visiting Lecturer at City, University of London, and taught at Queen Mary University of London.
Tahsin’s expertise lies in corporate and commercial law, transactional and advisory matters, regulatory and compliance issues, and dispute-related work. She has advised on a range of domestic and cross-border commercial matters, including M&A, FDI, tax matters, legal due diligence, contract drafting and negotiation, and multi-jurisdictional advisory work. Her work also includes legal research in digital regulation, as well as teaching core law subjects. Her teaching experience has been recognised through her Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, UK (AFHEA).
After securing First Class Honours in her LL.B. from the University of London, where she ranked among the top graduates globally, Tahsin completed her training as a Barrister at City, University of London and later completed her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has also completed a Master of Tax Management from the University of Dhaka.
Tahsin was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and is enrolled as an Advocate in Bangladesh. She is also accredited as a Civil-Commercial Mediator by ADR-ODR International, UK.
